"You cheated! I saw! you cheated!" A red-haired boy yelled. Werser stopped in his tracks and turned his head to look over his shoulders.
"What did you say?" Werser asked in a threatening tone. He may have been 14, but that didn't stop him from fighting with others. He sized up the boy who had said he'd cheated. The boy was bigger...a lot bigger. Werser smiled inside, the bigger, the better.
"I said you cheated!" Werser smiled slowly, a smile that showed irritation with his enemy. This time Werser made a full turn to face the other boy. He shook his head, peered out the ground, then back up at the boy, then pointed at him.
"You know, you shouldn't go accusing people without getting facts first. What exactly do you think I cheated at?" Of course, Werser never cheated at anything, yet students liked to accuse him of it because he always got good grades, yet he was mean to other students. No one understood Werser's behavoir. Werser's red-haired opponent now sized him up.
"You cheated on that test, and I'm gonna tell-" before teh red-haired boy could finish his sentence, Werser ducked and head-butted the boy in the stomach. Werser didn't wait to give the boy an opening. As the red-haired boy sprawled on the ground, Werser jumped him and started grappling with the boy for a leverage in the fight.
"WERSER!" Werser heard someone chouting his name, a teacher most likely. "Werser! You get off that boy right now!" Wersr looked up finally, and smiled. He had one black eye, but he'd given the the red-haired boy two black eyes. He was satisfied.
Werser stood up and brushed himself off. The teacher frowned down at him and then grabbed him by the arm. "Come with me!" She said. Werser smiled as the teacher practically dragged him along. He'd been nothing but trouble for the teachers at Vegliante school since he had arrived the first year. Of course,he thought it really their fault. If his parents had forced him to come to school, and the teachers hadn't forced him to stay, he may have been nicer.
"I'm going to send you to Vegliante Cove." The teacher stated firmly, she sounded angrier than she had ever been before. Send him to Vegliante Cove? What for? "Perhaps the people there can teach you some manners. For this school has surely tried." Werser just shrugged, yet his mind was rolling around in circles inside his skull. Stay with the Sea Dragoners and their Sea Dragons? He frowned, he didn't want to stay in any stinkin cove, he wanted to go far away.
Why can't I just leave? Werser thought, an idea coming to him. When whoever it was that came to pic him up, came, he'd be able to escape somehow and go far away where no one knew him. Then perhaps start up a...
Werser's thoughts were interuppted when he noticed a Caerlizard pirched on the teacher's shoulders. She had just given it some kind of orders and it held something in it's front hands. Werser tried to peer closer at it, but the Caerlizard flew off before he could get a closer look.
"Now go pack your things, a Sea Dragoner will be here to pick you up shortly. Though I have half the mind to force you to walk to Vegliante Cove, but I suppose you'd try to get away, wouldn't you?" The teacher sighed and continued without a response from Werser. "Hurry it up! Go pack your things. Things'll be much easier without you around to start fights." Only when Werser turned his back did he allow for a small smile. Yet, going to Vegliante Cove, only a short distance from Vegliante school, he wouldn't be far enough away. At least, not by his standards.

Werser had packed his bags rather quickly. When he finished he had roamed, silently, all over the place. He even took the liberty of listening to a few conversations, but got bored rather quickly. He happened upon one conversation where two teachers were talking abou a student, and he listened for the name of the student, but the teachers talked to quietly.
Then the Sea Dragoner came. Werser stared up at the tall, muscley man in awe. He'd never seen anyone that in shape.
The Sea Dragoner only looked at Werser quietly, beore he bekoned, with his head, towards his Sea Dragon and they were off.
Half way to Vegliante Cove, the Sea Dragoner turned slightly in his seat so that he was facing Werser.
"My name is Janton." He said. He offered no handshake and Werser was jsut as glad he didn't. "My Sea Dragon's name is Heselisess. Your teacher told us about you. We were told that we are aloud to try anything to tach you respect for others. Heselisess and I both agree that you should become a Bonder." Werser didn't smile, didn't flinch, nor did he say a thing. He just stared at the Sea Dragoner until he turned around. Then, and only then, did Werser smile. He'd come back and show everyone at Vegliante School that he was better than them all!
Dragon Fire
This is a picture I drew for a book that my RL friend and I are writing. He isn't really burning, the flame's added for effect. Even if he was stepping through the flame, dragons have a protective shell that forms over them and it resists fire. I drew and colored it in MS Paint and then used Paint Shop Pro (PSP) to mess with the flames to make them look real.
